Newsholme Manor was designed and built by Sexton Bros. The build started in 1970 and the restaurant was opened by Tom and Edna Sexton in 1975. Situated in the beautiful Oakworth countryside with panoramic rural views stretching over the valley. Close to Haworth and Bronte Country, the Worth Valley Railway's Oakworth Station (setting for many films including the Railway Children) and 20 minutes from Skipton 'The Gateway to the Dales'. The restaurant features traditional home cooked food prepared by chef and proprietor Colin Sexton. You are invited to browse through the traditional menus whilst enjoying a drink from the fully licensed intimate bar. The relaxed atmosphere is enhanced by the log burning stove adding warmth to the coldest of days. Newsholme Manor is available to hire for lunches, private lunch parties, afternoon teas, dinner and dances and special occassions. All bookings are arranged and catered for by our professional and caring staff. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is offered at a realistic price with breakfast and meals served in the restaurant. The comfortable rooms are en-suite with colour TV, free wi-fi and coffee-making facilities. Bed and Breakfast is offered from April to September. The popular 5 van site for camping and caravanning club members offers hard standing and electric hook-up. It is open all year round. The rally field, also offering limited hard standing and hook-up points, is popular for groups to hold meetings. We have a varied animal family here at Newsholme Manor. We are very passionate about our Boxer dogs and native rare breeds, having a small flock of white faced woodland sheep and Dales ponies. We are home to other animals as well. Animal feeds and a small selection of equestrian and pet products are available to order from us. Rebecca offers Freelance Riding Lessons and ground work with horses, having completed her instructor training with Think Like A Pony in Leeds. She is also a qualified Bowen Practitioner.
