Members who are local (Welsh Government guidance is a 5 mile journey limit) may travel to the club now, and it is hoped this limit will be removed from 6 th July to enable all members to come from that date.
With regret, the Sailing Club is closed and the main Clubhouse is locked. The toilets are accessible to members, but using the changing rooms and showers is not permitted under current guidelines. There are no Club events or activities taking place in the immediate future. We will reopen at the earliest opportunity. Please follow the Government’s current advice and directives with regard to social distancing. Latest Government advice allows (from 13th May) solo sailing and sailing with members of your own household. If you decide to sail while following this advice, please remember that you sail at your own risk. Please pay attention to the forecast and tide and do not sail if the conditions are not favourable. THERE IS NO RESCUE FACILITY – the Club safety RIBs are currently being stored out of the water. On the steps to the beach please be patient and allow social distancing, if you wish to avoid using the steps walk to the beach around The Maybush.
