Description: We assess and treat a wide range of eye problems in children such as conditions which affect the way the eyes move (squint, lazy eye and double vision), refractive errors (need for glasses) and other conditions such as juvenile arthritis, sticky eyes, neurological problems, retinopathy of prematurity, lid abnormalities, retinal diseases, loss of red reflex and poor visual development. Treatment may consist of prescribing glasses, occlusion therapy (patching), drops or surgery (to straighten the eyes).
