Company name: Inspired

Description: Inspired was founded by a group of parents in 2014. It had become clear to these parents that their young adult children with intellectual disabilities wanted to have more purpose in their lives and a more meaningful role in their local community. Inspired was established in recognition of the fact that people with intellectual disabilities want to feel useful and valued. They need and deserve to have some agency over their own lives, rather than rely on services decided solely by other people on their behalf.
