Description: Kirklees LMC is the representative body for GPs working in the Kirklees area. It is a statutory body that represents the interests of all GPs in this area and we have regular meetings with other Stakeholders. We would seek to facilitate for the provision of the best services in Primary Care and ensure that the specifications can be reasonably achieved by our members. We feedback via a Regional Alliance of West Yorkshire LMC s to our National Body which is the General Practitioners’ Committee ( GPC ) which meets in London at least monthly. Every year there is a National Conference of LMC s at which national policies and recommendations are agreed. Dr Richard Vautrey is our regional GPC Member who is also Chair of GPC at the present time.
