Description: Liberty House is a 16 bed accommodation with support for homeless young people aged between 16 and 24. Priority is given to 16/17 year olds and applicants must have a Salford connection. Successful applicants will be expected to work towards education / employment or training and all young people are supported with independent living skills such as: ▪ Budgeting ▪ Cooking ▪ Managing their accommodation ▪ Moving on positively Liberty House have excellent links with health and wellbeing providers in the community. All young people are supported to register with local GP, dentist and optician. Referrals will be made to relevant agencies for specialist health or emotional wellbeing needs. The service also offers a weekly session with a professional counsellor if individuals wish to engage with this. Support available Advice; advocacy; counselling / therapy; information; signposting; support. Family members can be involved in elements of support with consent from the young person and if deemed appropriate
