Description: We represent the Mercian Volunteers. The Light Infantry & Mercian Volunteers, which includes the 1st and 2nd Battalions. These units were raised after the 1967 Army reforms and formed part of the U.K's contribution to Nato. The Regimental Association was formed to: -Keep alive the spirit and memory of Mercian Volunteers -Provide Welfare support for all ex-Mercians -Act as the Guardians of Mercian property
