Description: I am a true Luminologists, with specialty knowledge of gastroenterology, dealing with everything that can occur from mouth through to anus. In addition to the standard diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, I am also experienced with many specialty procedures, not commonly performed by Gastroenterologists outside of the teaching hospitals (eg. capsule endoscopy, gastric weight loss balloons, oesophageal pH, Impedance and high resolution manometry). I have led from the top, as Clinical Lead for the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital, and previously as the Medical Advisory Committee Representative for Gastroenterology at the Spire Harpenden Hospital. I keep myself current with the latest medical literature and maintain a high research profile. From a research perspective I am mainly known for my work in coeliac disease, capsule endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease and innovative web-based management systems to improve patient care and service.
