Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board

General Info

Company name: Doncaster Safeguarding Children Board

Description: Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership is a statutory body consisting of senior representatives of all partner agencies and organisations working together to safeguard children and young people in Doncaster. The partnership brings together a range of local agencies led by Doncaster Council (with Doncaster Children’s Services Trust delivering services on their behalf), Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group, and South Yorkshire Police. These three ‘safeguarding partners’ are required to agree on ways to co-ordinate their safeguarding services; act as a strategic leadership group in supporting and engaging others; and implement local and national learning including from serious child safeguarding incidents. To do this, they need to work in partnership with all relevant agencies in Doncaster as the Doncaster Safeguarding Children Partnership.
