Description: Clwyd Special Riding Centre is pleased to announce that the Centre has begun a phased re-opening. The last 22 months have been very challenging for everyone, including the Centre. The messages of support and donations we’ve received have been tremendous and we would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped us through these very difficult times. It will take time to get back to anything like the normal offering we had before the pandemic, but we are excited to have taken the first steps to re-opening, running a small number of riding, carriage driving, hippotherapy and mechanical horse sessions. Our aim is to build on these initial sessions throughout the year to allow us to offer more places to our existing and new participants. All our sessions are run solely by volunteers, so we are very reliant on having the correct number of volunteers in place to support each session. We are sure you will have many questions and we have addressed some of these in this Frequently Asked Questions document . As CSRC celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022, we are ever more determined to retain our role as a key provider for equine therapy for those with additional needs.
