Description: Crewe Concert Band was formed in 1982, for woodwind and brass players of all ages, and until April 2011 was known as Crewe West End Concert Band. We are predominantly amateur musicians, although some members are, or have been, professional musicians and/or music teachers. We represent a wide range of backgrounds, professions and age groups but we come together through a shared love of making music for our own enjoyment, and the enjoyment of others. We are immensely proud of the fact that we still have some of the Band's founding members within our lineup. Our repertoire ranges from classical overtures to big band tunes, from musicals to marches, and everything in between. So, whether you're a "William Tell" person or a "West Side Story" person, or prefer "Chariots of Fire" to "Chicken Run", we have something for all tastes!
