Description: Dear Civvies, customers and supporters, We hope you are all well. Following the most recent Government announcement it would, theoretically, be possible for us to reopen for some small groups from July 4th. However, the guidelines still prohibit live performances, conferencing and indoor sporting activities including dancing. This means that the majority of our individual events still cannot take place and leaves us with about 3 of our "regulars" who could go ahead. In addition to this, most of our "regulars" stop their activities for the summer break anyway and so realistically we'd be left with only one or two activities per week. With this in mind, we have made the decision that The Civic will reopen from Tuesday 1st September. We are optimistic that from this point, we will be able to host far more customers and activities without needlessly spending money to keep an empty building open. We'd like to express our deepest thanks to all our customers for their understanding and to our Civvies for their endless optimism. We look forward to The Civic, once again, being the heart of Ormskirk as soon as it is safe! Stay safe Liz and Gemma
