Description: Sedbergh School is fortunate to have a substantial and widely varying archive collection. Material has been gathered over the past five centuries both from within school and from the community of Old Sedberghians and friends. As well as paper records documenting the history of the school and its pupils the archive cares for a collection of oil and watercolour paintings and the artefact collection, highlights of which include a WW1 ceremonial sword and a rugby ball that went into space on the NASA Discovery shuttle.
