Description: In 2005, with the blessing and encouragement of my husband, I took the plunge and enrolled in the Association of Texas Midwives. I did a large part of my apprenticeship with Jackie and I graduated in 2007 and practiced in Texas. In 2012, my husband and I moved to Arkansas, but midwifery is very different in Arkansas.
