Description: Hello. My name is Geoff Hewitson and I’m the 1st Vice Chair of the Peterborough and District Pathway of Fame. This year one of our eight inductees into the Pathway is George Cox. Born in 1840 George Cox became a wealthy business man that helped build our community. He was also instrumental in the founding and building of George St. United Church in Peterborough. An induction ceremony will be held at Showplace Performance Centre on Saturday September 19th at 10 am.
